About Golf academy

The golf academy at Vall d’Or Golf in Felanitx, in the Balearic Islands, offers courses and lessons adapted to players of all levels. For golfers considering tuition during a visit, its teaching provision includes a junior school with both practice facilities and activities out on the course.

Junior golf and practice facilities

The junior academy has a covered area, practice bunkers, an approach area and several putting greens. Together, these provide spaces for practising bunker shots, approach play and putting, rather than restricting practice to a single part of the short game.

Junior teaching combines lessons with outings on the course. Annual competitions for children and young players also form part of the school’s activities. The programme therefore brings together instruction, practice, course play and competition, with time on the course included alongside the lessons.

The professional

Professional Antonio González Tomé has been a PGA member since 1983. His membership is a longstanding connection with the professional game.
