About Golf academy

The golf academy at The Alto Golf Club Sotogrande is in San Roque, Cádiz, beside SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort. For golfers visiting the area, it brings together tuition, practice facilities and a par-3 course in one location. Instruction is available for players of all ages and abilities.

Practice facilities

There are natural-grass practice areas as well as covered bays, with Toptracer technology among the academy’s facilities. Fitting is also available, adding an equipment-focused option to the time spent working on your game.

Dedicated short-game and putting areas give you space to practise approaches and putting rather than concentrating solely on longer shots. Together, the different areas allow a visit to include several parts of the game.

The par-3 course

The academy also has a par-3 course designed by Manuel Piñero. It provides a separate playing option alongside the practice areas, whether your focus is tuition or time spent practising.

Opening hours

The academy opens daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Night-time practice options are also available. Its position beside the resort is a useful point of reference when planning a visit to the academy.
