OLIVA NOVA BEACH & GOLF RESORT

Oliva Nova Beach & Golf Resort is in Oliva, in the province of Valencia, within the Valencian Community. For a golf trip, its central attraction is an 18-hole course by Severiano Ballesteros, supported by a five-hole par-3 course, a golf academy and a substantial clubhouse. Accommodation, dining and other sports facilities make it more than a place to play a round.

The resort brings together a hotel, spa, kids' club, padel facilities and an equestrian centre. For visitors travelling with companions, these provide activities beyond the golf courses within the same complex. There are also spaces for events and celebrations.

The golf courses

Campo de Golf Oliva Nova opened in 1995. Designed by Severiano Ballesteros, the 18-hole course covers around 50 hectares and includes water hazards. It is the main course at the resort, with a different scale from the short layout that accompanies it.

The second course is named Pich & Putt. It has five par-3 holes, giving a total par of 15, with individual holes measuring between 50 and 90 metres. Those distances distinguish it from the main 18-hole course and give the resort a separate short-hole option. A golf academy is also part of the facilities.

Inside the clubhouse

The clubhouse covers 3,000 square metres and has panoramic views of the course. It houses a shop, changing rooms, a golf bag storage room and buggy parking. These practical facilities are brought together in one building overlooking the golf, rather than being separate elements of the wider accommodation and leisure offering.

Staying and spending time at the resort

The accommodation options include Hotel Oliva Nova and Alojamiento Las Dunas. Alongside them, the spa and kids' club broaden the choices for a stay, while padel and Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova add other sporting interests to the golf programme.

Dining is spread across several named venues: Aura, Central Aura Lounge, Don Giacomo, Ocean's, Sushi Corner, The Club, The Golf Club and Wine & Tapas. The resort also has a Beach Club.
