About Tecina Golf Academy
Tecina Golf Academy is the golf school at Hotel Jardín Tecina in Alajeró, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. For golfers considering tuition during a visit, its lessons and courses run throughout the year, rather than being limited to a particular season.
Tuition formats
The academy caters for different ages and playing levels. It offers individual lessons as well as teaching in small groups, giving visitors a choice between an individual session and learning alongside other golfers.
Both lessons and courses form part of the teaching programme. The range of levels means the academy is not solely aimed at advanced players, although technology plays a particular role in their training.
Trackman analysis
The academy uses Trackman to analyse the swing and ball flight precisely. It is used especially when training advanced golfers, bringing analysis of the player's movement and the resulting ball flight into their practice. For those players, this is a specific feature to consider when choosing where to take tuition.
