About Junior Golf Academy
Golf Lerma’s Junior Golf Academy is based in Lerma, in the province of Burgos. Its children’s course follows a three-term structure, with lessons held on Sundays. For families considering the academy, the teaching method and the term-by-term schedule are the main features of the programme.
The TPI approach
The academy uses the TPI method, combining technology, technique, instruction and physical preparation. Rather than focusing on technique alone, this approach brings all four elements into the teaching of golf to children. Physical preparation therefore sits alongside the technical and instructional parts of the programme, with technology also included in the method.
Terms and Sunday lessons
The junior course is organised into three terms, each containing eight lessons. Sessions take place on Sundays, making this the day families need to keep in mind when considering the course schedule.
The programme is defined by these two elements: a teaching approach based on TPI and a course arranged in terms of eight Sunday lessons each.
