Golf academy

For golfers considering lessons during a visit to the province of Madrid, the golf academy at Real Club de Golf La Herrería is in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Teaching takes place in a practice area with 22 bays, a bunker and two putting greens. These facilities bring together space for hitting balls and dedicated areas for practising bunker shots and putting.

Practice facilities

The academy’s setting is not limited to the practice bays. The bunker and two putting greens add a short-game component alongside the hitting area. For a visitor comparing places to take lessons, this combination is a useful part of the picture: the practice facilities cover work on shots as well as play around and on the green.

Teaching experience

The team has more than 15 years of experience with golfers of different ages and playing levels. That background, together with the practice facilities, forms the core of the academy’s offering at La Herrería.
