Las Colinas Golf & Country Club

Las Colinas Golf & Country Club brings together an 18-hole course, dedicated practice facilities and a range of leisure services in Orihuela, Alicante. Set in the Costa Blanca area of the Valencian Community, it offers more than a round of golf, with dining, other sports and wellness facilities forming part of the club.

The course

Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, the par-71 championship course runs through a wooded landscape. Lakes and bunkers are combined with broad fairways and gentle changes in elevation, creating a layout that calls for precision and strategic decisions.

The width of the fairways is only part of the picture. The obstacles make placement important, so the character of the course lies in balancing the space available with the demands of the next shot. Gentle slopes add variety to the round, while the woodland setting gives the course its landscape context.

Las Colinas has received the award for Spain’s Best Golf Course five times. It also features among Europe’s top 100 courses according to Golf World.

Time for practice

For golfers who want to include practice in their visit, the short-game area is a notable part of the facilities. Designed by Miguel Ángel Jiménez, it covers 5,000 m² and contains a 680 m² green and two bunkers. It provides a separate setting for working on the short game away from the main course.

The club also has a golf academy and a Toptracer driving range, bringing together different options for practice alongside the 18-hole round. A pro shop completes the golf-related services.

Away from the fairways

The club’s wider facilities give visitors other ways to spend time before or after golf. Restaurant unik is part of the dining offer, while Racquet Club and tennis facilities provide alternatives to the course. Sports & Health Club and a spa add a wellness element to the visit.

There is also a minimarket and a landscaped trail, and the club offers event services. Taken together, these facilities make Las Colinas worth considering for a Costa Blanca visit that combines golf with other activities. The course and practice areas remain central to the experience, but they are not the only things available at the club.
