Fontanals Golf Academy

For golfers travelling with young children, the academy at Fontanals Golf Club has a clear starting point: its programmes begin at the age of 3. Located in Fontanals de Cerdanya, in Girona province, the school combines a teaching approach centred on learning and enjoyment with a practice area covering more than 80,000 m².

Golf programmes from age 3

The academy’s approach is educational and fun, bringing those two elements together in the learning process. For families considering golf for younger children, the starting age is a useful detail when looking at what Fontanals offers beyond the club itself.

The programmes introduce the opportunity to learn from age 3, with enjoyment forming part of the school’s stated approach to teaching.

Space for practice

The academy has more than 80,000 m² of practice space. Alongside its programmes and teaching philosophy, the scale of this area is a defining feature of the golf school at Fontanals Golf Club.
