About The Golf Lab

At Empordà Golf Club in Gualta, Girona, The Golf Lab brings together practice facilities for swing work, putting and approach shots. There are two driving ranges, a covered space equipped with Trackman and separate short-game areas, including a putting green measuring 2,000 m².

Range practice and swing analysis

The two driving ranges are located in the north and south areas of the club. Alongside the ranges, the covered Trackman space provides a place to analyse different aspects of the swing.

For visiting golfers, the distinction is useful: the facilities include both range practice areas and a covered setting for technology-assisted swing analysis.

Short-game practice and warming up

The 2,000 m² putting green is a notable part of the practice facilities and is described as one of the largest in Europe. It provides a dedicated area for working on putting, separate from the other short-game spaces.

There is also a warm-up putting green beside the Dunes and Forest courses. This gives golfers a place to prepare their putting before heading onto either course.

The south area also includes an approach practice area, where the focus is on short-game shots and accuracy. Together, these spaces allow a practice session to cover putting and approach work as well as the swing.
