Arcosur Golf

Arcosur Golf brings public-access golf, tuition and practice facilities together in Zaragoza, Aragón. Open since 2017, this municipal facility is managed by the Federación Aragonesa de Golf in coordination with Zaragoza City Council. It welcomes players of different standards and has a strong role in teaching and promoting golf in the region.

For a visitor, the main choices are a round on the nine-hole pitch and putt, time on the driving range or a session working on the short game. A golf school, specialist shop and café add to the facilities available on site.

Playing and practising at Arcosur

The Pitch and Putt Arcosur Golf is a nine-hole, par-27 layout measuring 640 metres from the yellow tees, which are used for games on the course. Dedicated approach areas and a putting green provide further space to work on the shots around the green.

The expanded driving range is 320 metres long and has 30 bays. There is also a grass area open to users for practising with woods and driver, so a visit need not be limited to short-game work.

Range technology and golf lessons

TrackMan Range uses radar and GPS to deliver real-time shot data. It also offers virtual challenges, including holes from courses such as The National Golf. The wider technology offering includes a simulator, club fitting and the introduction of Golf Directo.

Teaching is central to the facility. Alongside the golf school, Arcosur hosts the Escuela de Golf Adaptado Aragón, an inclusive teaching project for people with disabilities. Adapted golf classes have taken place here on an ongoing basis since 2024.

Facilities beyond the course

The specialist golf shop sells clothing and accessories, while changing rooms are available on site. Arcosur also houses offices of the Federación Aragonesa de Golf.

Cafetería El Green overlooks the first tee, putting green and approach area. It provides a place to sit with views of the golfing activity, whether your visit is centred on playing, practising or attending a lesson.

Health, sustainability and community

Free sunscreen dispensers are available at the facility, which also has defibrillators and medical resources. Arcosur runs on energy from renewable sources and uses bermuda grass, which the club associates with water savings and sustainability.

Its community work includes Los 9 Hoyos, a nine-month programme linking golf with social, educational and environmental initiatives. Each month is dedicated to a different cause, extending the site's role beyond rounds and practice sessions.
