About Golf academy

For golfers considering lessons in Almería, the academy at Alborán Golf offers both an introduction to the sport and courses for improving an existing game. These courses run throughout the year, so the teaching programme is not restricted to a particular season.

Starting golf or developing your game

Beginners can join group courses lasting eight hours. This is the academy’s introductory option, with learning taking place in a group rather than as an individual course.

For golfers who have already started playing, the academy also offers improvement courses. The distinction is straightforward when choosing between the two: one introduces the game, while the other is intended for players looking to develop it further. Both options form part of the year-round course offering at Alborán Golf.

Golf for children

The junior school accepts children from the age of six and teaches an average of seventy pupils per course. Alongside the beginner and improvement courses, it adds a children’s teaching programme to the golf academy’s activities in Almería.
